Kendra is an organization development consultant, leadership coach, and facilitator whose approach centers on working with leaders to achieve genuine, sustainable results that add value to their professional and life experiences. She uses a whole systems approach, helping leaders gain deeper awareness about their ways of working and thinking, specifically focusing on how their actions impact their effectiveness in achieving desired business results.

Business/Organizational Leadership Experience

Kendra’s work experience spans a variety of industries in Canada and the United States including food and building materials manufacturing, higher education, visual and performance arts, IT, telecommunications, as well as in the non-profit arena. Kendra’s consulting and coaching work has led her clients to measurable and meaningful results including improved leadership presence and influence yielding confidence and strategic focus; enhanced ability to engage and more effectively function in a dynamic, global marketplace; streamlined communication and business processes that translated into tangible savings in man-hour and equipment use and increased effectiveness in decision-making and interpersonal communication, resulting in enhanced teaming and organizational productivity.

Prior to starting launching her business, Kindred Organizational Consulting, Inc, Kendra was Director of Multicultural Affairs at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. While there, she provided leadership coaching, designed and delivered leadership workshops, and training for leadership and staff. She was also Sales and Practice Manager for Stride & Associates in Campbell, CA and Program Director for Score@Kaplan in Cupertino, CA.

Education

Kendra is a 2008 graduate of the International Coaching Federation (ICF) accredited International Gestalt Coaching Program (IGCP) at the Cleveland, Ohio-based Gestalt Center for Systems & Organizational Change. Kendra earned her B.A. in Sociology from U.C. Berkeley and her M.S. in Organization Development & Change from American University.
